Bikes are assembled and packaged in Germany. Your order is then shipped to the UK, and if our “build” service is chosen, we will organise the build of your bike. This includes:
- Full build and PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) by our certified mechanics.
- Swapping of brakes to UK set up (If required), and the shortening of hydraulic hoses to suit.
- Wheels setup tubeless using high quality Peaty’s sealant and valves.
- Installation of customers equipment (within reason).
- Suspension set for rider’s weight.
- Demonstration of software (SRAM AXS, ETUBE Project, Trailhead etc.)
Unfortunately, it is not possible to Click & Collect GCI or Cyclescheme orders as the order must be delivered to the owner’s home address. Once delivered, customers may contact the Mill to organise dropping off their bike for a Pro Build.

- This can lead to a crash and to moderately severe injuries such as dislocations, bruises or fractures. Your bike may also sustain frame damage following a shock failure.

- The serial number of your “FOX DHX2 Performance Elite” (2021) shock has the form of “123456 – 1234 – T” and can be found on the rear of the shock body near the port of the silver piston rod (https://www.ridefox.com/img/service/register-2021-serialnumber.jpg).
- As soon as we receive this information from you we will send you a new “FOX DHX2 Performance Elite” shock including all accessories.
- You will also receive via e-mail a link to the video instructions for the replacement.
- You can check the arrival of your new shock via delivery tracking and you will be able to install it to replace the old shock following the video instructions.
- You’ll return the replaced shock to us in the reusable box with the help of the return label.
- If you turned to a bike shop for the replacement, please obtain a receipt for the work done in your name with date, price, and a brief service description – then send it to us via e-mail together with your bank details.

To improve the customer experience, we have now included all UK Customs Duties, Advanced Commission, Import Fees/Handling cost into the price shown on the product page. This way it is easier for our customers to understand which bikes are within their budget. The shipping cost is added at the end of the checkout process once your shipping address has been entered.
Although a trade deal has been reached, there are still some uncertainties about what the new relationship between the UK & EU will look like in practice. The agreement says that only goods of European origin are free from duties. The legal definition of what constitutes a European product is one where at least 70% of the components, materials, or somewhat ephemeral term “value” are EU sourced. As you are no doubt aware, our frames and most ofthe components are manufactured in Asia but designed and assembled in Germany. Where the uncertainty lies is in whether this constitutes sufficient “added value” to be classed as a European product. This topic affects the entire bike industry, as we eagerly await clarification.
Prices on the product page now include all customs duties and import fees, including a fixed import fee of £85.50 and customs duties at 14% of the net cost price of the bike. For E-bikes (e.g., the Decoy), customs duties are reduced to 6%.

Our bikes are shipped exclusively in our specifically developed YT BikeBox (dimensions: 132cm x 82cm x 32 cm, weight 7kg).
Our bikes are 95% assembled but are 100% set up for you. All you need to do, is install the handlebars, derailleur, wheels and pedals. Then set-up the suspension according to your weight/preference, and off you go! It's that easy!

Your bike will be shipped to the UK via TNT/FedEx. Once the order arrives in the UK, it is passed to a local courier Xpress24, who will contact you to coordinate a suitable delivery date/time.

Shipping of bikes within Germany takes between 3-5 work days. Small parts can usually be delivered a litte faster.
Bikes are shipped with DB Schenker, small parts with DHL.
Once you received your bike, you have to mount the handlebars, wheels, rear derailleur and pedals. Then your bike will be ready to ride, as everything has already been pre-assembled in our factory. You only need to adjust the saddle height to your leg length and the suspension to your weight and personal preference. For setup recommendations, please use our Suspension Setup Guide.

You are entitled to the statutory warranty for the first 24 months.
As of 2018, we grant an additional 3-year guarantee on our frames. This means you have an overall guarantee period of five years from the date of purchase on the frame.
You should always report defects or damage immediately in order to be able to make a warranty claim. (You can find detailed information in our General Terms and Conditions under point 8)".

As a second-hand owner, you will need the original invoice to make any warranty claims.
If you buy a second-hand YT, you are still entitled to the remaining term of the legal 2-year warranty from the date of purchase.
However, our voluntary additional 3-year guarantee only applies to the original owner.
The legally regulated guarantee of two years applies to parts and suspension. Wear parts are excluded from this regulation. To maintain the warranty claims, please also adhere to the maintenance instructions of the component manufacturers.

The guarantee does not cover wear parts like axles, bearings including seals and lubricants (ball bearings / angular contact bearings/needle bearings, etc), plain bearings, suspension bushings, and seals, drive train components (chain, sprockets, chainring, freehub), brake pads and shifting cables.
The warranty is required by law and amounts to 24 months for new goods from the invoice date.
The guarantee is a voluntary service on our part.
