- The serial number of your “FOX DHX2 Performance Elite” (2021) shock has the form of “123456 – 1234 – T” and can be found on the rear of the shock body near the port of the silver piston rod (https://www.ridefox.com/img/service/register-2021-serialnumber.jpg).
- As soon as we receive this information from you we will send you a new “FOX DHX2 Performance Elite” shock including all accessories.
- You will also receive via e-mail a link to the video instructions for the replacement.
- You can check the arrival of your new shock via delivery tracking and you will be able to install it to replace the old shock following the video instructions.
- You’ll return the replaced shock to us in the reusable box with the help of the return label.
- If you turned to a bike shop for the replacement, please obtain a receipt for the work done in your name with date, price, and a brief service description – then send it to us via e-mail together with your bank details.
- We will reimburse your incurred expenses via bank transfer to your account up to the amount of 25 EUR / 20 GBP / 25 USD./ 35 AUD / 40 NZD

Following Brexit, orders will be shipped to the UK Mill before being forwarded to your address (often the same day). If you live near the Surrey Hills, you’re welcome to collect your bike boxed from the UK Mill once we have received it. Please note this would not affect the delivery cost.
We are not able to offer a build service currently.

To improve the customer experience, we have now included all UK Customs Duties, Advanced Commission, Import Fees/Handling cost into the price shown on the product page. This way it is easier for our customers to understand which bikes are within their budget. The shipping cost is added at the end of the checkout process once your shipping address has been entered.
Although a trade deal has been reached, there are still some uncertainties about what the new relationship between the UK & EU will look like in practice. The agreement says that only goods of European origin are free from duties. The legal definition of what constitutes a European product is one where at least 70% of the components, materials, or somewhat ephemeral term “value” are EU sourced. As you are no doubt aware, our frames and most ofthe components are manufactured in Asia but designed and assembled in Germany. Where the uncertainty lies is in whether this constitutes sufficient “added value” to be classed as a European product. This topic affects the entire bike industry, as we eagerly await clarification.
Prices on the product page, now include all customs duties and import fees; this includes a fixed import fee of £85.50 and customs duties at 14% of the net cost price of the bike. For E-bikes (i.e.the Decoy), customs duties are at the reduced rate of 6%.The shipping cost is added at the end of the checkout process once your shipping address has been entered. Our bikes are shipped exclusively in our specifically developed YT BikeBox (dimensions: 132cm x 82cm x 32 cm, weight 7kg).
Our bikes are 95% assembled but are 100% set up for you. All you need to do, is install the handlebars, derailleur, wheels and pedals. Then set-up the suspension according to your weight/preference, and off you go! It's that easy!

Are there any additional fees when using a credit card?
No, there is no surcharge.
We need the full amount within the 10 working days following your order, otherwise it will be canceled. As soon as we have received your full payment, you will receive a confirmation by email.
Naturally, you benefit from the legally required 24 month warranty. In addition, we grant a warranty for a total of five years.
Please note that you must always report any defects or damages in order to make a valid warranty claim. (Detailed information can be found in our General Terms and Conditions, in section 10).
We give an additional guarantee on the frames of all YT bikes that bought from 2018 onward, three years after the expiry of the guarantee period from the date of purchase.
Any modifications to the frame render the guarantee null and void.
As a second-hand owner, you will need the original invoice to make any warranty claims.
If you buy a YT second-hand, you are still entitled to the statutory warranty, two years after the original purchase date.
Please note: the voluntary guarantee is only valid for the original owner.
The legally regulated guarantee of two years applies to parts and suspension. Wear parts are excluded from this regulation. To maintain the warranty claims, please also adhere to the maintenance instructions of the component manufacturers.

The guarantee does not cover wear parts like axles, bearings including seals and lubricants (ball bearings / angular contact bearings/needle bearings, etc), plain bearings, suspension bushings, and seals, drive train components (chain, sprockets, chainring, freehub), brake pads and shifting cables.
The warranty is required by law and amounts to 24 months for new goods from the invoice date.
The guarantee is a voluntary service on our part.
