The price shown at the checkout is the total price you will pay. YT will be able to charge all fees upfront, and you will not be contacted to pay additional fees when the bike arrives, as was a concern initially.

No. The price you pay is the price at checkout.
This is very good question and one that we are currently working hard to resolve. The increased regulations imposed by the Brexit deal have led to much publicised difficulties at the UK borders. As a result of this, our shipments are taking longer to dispatch and arrive to the delivery address. However, we have also arranged for better freight communication; once in the UK we will be able to communicate clear delivery dates.

Although a trade deal has been reached there are still some uncertainties about what the new relationship between the UK & EU will look like in practice. The agreement says that only goods of European origin are free from duties. The legal definition of what constitutes a European product is one where at least 70% of the components, materials, or somewhat ephemeral term “value” are EU sourced. As you are no doubt aware, our frames and the majority of components are manufactured in Asia but designed and assembled in Germany. Where the uncertainty lies is in whether this constitutes sufficient “added value” to be classed as a European product. This topic affects the entire bike industry, as we eagerly await clarification.
The final price you will pay will be displayed on the website at the point of ordering; currently this includes a fixed import fee of £85.50 and customs duties at 14% of the net cost price of the bike. For E-bikes (i.e. the Decoy) customs duties are at the reduced rate of 6%.

Yes. You pay the total cost of the bike including any duties, fees and shipping it to your confirmed address upfront.
We have not made any changes to the prices of our bikes. Unfortunately, we have had to increase the costs of shipping for orders placed after the 15th of December. This is due to higher logistics costs and changing our freight company to DB Schenker for exporting into the UK after Brexit.
To reiterate however, these changes will not affect existing orders and you will not be contacted to pay more than originally stated at the point of ordering.
Unfortunately, not. The account import procedure and documentation are in the customer’s name. Plus, we currently do not offer a click and collect service from the Mill.
Brexit is a moving target. We are working hard to make ordering and receiving a YT bike as easy as possible. We will continue to work hard to find ways to reduce the costs and the friction of importing a bike from the EU and will update our processes accordingly. We are keeping a close eye on the developments of the new agreement.

"In Stock": the bike is currently in stock. Place your order, and we will shortly dispatch your bike.
"Available From": This is the earliest date at which your bike can be assembled and made ready for delivery. Actual shipment usually occurs 2-3 days after this date.
"Sold Out":This model is completely sold out and will no longer be available for purchase.
Please note that stock levels change with each order and so does the availability indicated on the site. The availability dates listed on the site only concern future orders. Existing orders are not affected by these availability date changes.

If you have already paid, you will receive a full refund of the original purchase amount. Please note that we are unable to refund any transaction- or service-fees related to your payment method.
If you return your purchase, you will receive a refund of the original purchase price as well as the delivery cost. To qualify, the goods must be returned to us within 14 days, and be unused in the original packaging.
To return orders under 500 € value you will need to pay for the return shipping. We are unable to accept unpaid return mail. Since our bikes are assembled and packaged before being assigned to a customer, a specification change is unfortunately not possible.

DHL deliveries within Germany take between 3-5 business days.
Our bikes are shipped exclusively in our specifically developed YT BikeBox (dimensions: 132cm x 82cm x 32 cm, weight 7kg).
Our bikes are 95% assembled but are 100% set up for you. All you have to do is adjust the handlebars and derailleurs, put the wheels and pedals on, set-up your suspension according to your needs, and off you go! It's that easy!

Delivery costs within Germany are 29,90 € and 19,90 € for the YT BikeBox. The delivery cost for small parts is 6,90 €. Please note that DHL charges a fee of 5,60 € for Cash on delivery. Delivery costs within the EU are 59,90 €, as well as 19,90 € for the YT BikeBox. Shipping costs for small parts within the EU are 9,90 €.
As soon as your shipment is handed over to our shipping partner, you will receive a tracking number via e-mail to allow you to track it.

Which reference should I provide with the bank transfer?
In order to ensure quick and precise service, we need the order number and your full name to be referenced in the bank transfer.
I have a limit on the amount I can transfer. What can I do?
You can pay your order in two installments. Please make sure to reference the order number and your name for both transfers.
By when do I need to transfer my payment?
We need to receive your transfer at the latest 10 days before the indicated availability date. As soon as we receive the full transfer from you, you will get a payment confirmation e-mail from us.
Naturally, you benefit from the legally required 24 month warranty. In addition, we grant a warranty for a total of five years.
Please note that you must always report any defects or damages in order to make a valid warranty claim. (Detailed information can be found in our General Terms and Conditions, in section 10).
We give an additional guarantee on the frames of all YT bikes that bought from 2018 onward, three years after the expiry of the guarantee period from the date of purchase.
Any modifications to the frame render the guarantee null and void.
As a second-hand owner, you will need the original invoice to make any warranty claims.
If you buy a YT second-hand, you are still entitled to the statutory warranty, two years after the original purchase date.
Please note: the voluntary guarantee is only valid for the original owner.
The legally regulated guarantee of two years applies to parts and suspension. Wear parts are excluded from this regulation. To maintain the warranty claims, please also adhere to the maintenance instructions of the component manufacturers.

The guarantee does not cover wear parts like axles, bearings including seals and lubricants (ball bearings / angular contact bearings/needle bearings, etc), plain bearings, suspension bushings, and seals, drive train components (chain, sprockets, chainring, freehub), brake pads and shifting cables.
The warranty is required by law and amounts to 24 months for new goods from the invoice date.
The guarantee is a voluntary service on our part.
